Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Wedding Sherpa — the web and mobile apps at weddingsherpa.ai and app.weddingsherpa.ai. By using Wedding Sherpa you agree to them.
What Wedding Sherpa is
Wedding Sherpa is a planning assistant. Its AI drafts proposals — vendor enquiries, budget allocations, timelines, guest communications — and nothing is sent or committed on your behalf until you approve it in the app. You are always the decision-maker.
AI-generated content
Drafts, suggestions, budgets, and vendor shortlists are generated by AI and can be incomplete or wrong. Review everything before approving. Vendor details (availability, pricing, contact information) come from public sources and the vendors themselves; verify them before committing money. Wedding Sherpa is a planning aid, not professional, legal, or financial advice.
Your content
Your wedding plan belongs to you. You grant us the limited licence needed to store, sync, and process it to provide the service (including AI drafting as described in our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for the information you add about other people, including your guests.
Vendors and third parties
Wedding Sherpa helps you find and contact vendors, but any booking or contract is strictly between you and the vendor. We are not a party to those agreements and are not responsible for a vendor's services, pricing, or conduct.
Plans and payment
The Free plan has a monthly request allowance. Paid plans (Core Season Pass, Core Monthly, Concierge) are billed through Stripe on our website; prices are shown before you pay. The Season Pass is a one-time payment covering your engagement. Monthly plans renew until cancelled. Nothing in the iOS app sells or upgrades plans. Statutory refund rights (including under Australian Consumer Law) are unaffected.
Acceptable use
- Don't use Wedding Sherpa to spam, harass, or deceive anyone — including vendors and guests.
- Don't attempt to break, probe, or overload the service.
- Don't add another person's data without a right to do so.
Termination and deletion
You can erase your wedding and account at any time from Settings — this permanently deletes your synced data. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Liability
Wedding Sherpa is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Changes
If these terms change materially we will note it here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
